Previously, I had a really good experience at Principle VW, when it was located in Irving, TX. Since then, they moved to a new location in Grapevine (TX). This new location was a bit further for me, so I was not able to make it out there. However, I had an outstanding recall (PODS), so needed to bring in my Atlas. I had bad experiences with the service department which I bought my Atlas from (Lewisville VW). So, I decided to drive the extra distance to Grapevine VW - they did not disappoint. The extra drive was well worth it.

I took my car to this shop to get checked out and figure out the issues. Within just a few days, one of the warning lights came back on. Since I work weekends, I had to take it to a quick service shop, where I found out my car was burning oil. This was something the original shop should have caught! I ended up having to pay $200 for an oil flush and replacement, which could have been avoided. Worse, this oversight could have caused serious damage to my car. Extremely disappointed with the lack of thoroughness in their inspection. I won’t be coming back.

Thank you for the feedback you provided. Like in all cars and as found in the owner's manual, engine oil does have to be topped off regularly and when the vehicle notifies you. This is perfectly normal operation and can happen at any time. We do offer complimentary fluid top off at our service center, so feel free to stop by anytime, no appointment required.

The service supervisor Brian told me my car was in great shape and that everything went well with my oil change and when i reviewed the video of my service inspection by the tech it clearly identified an oil leak. Now i have a $900 repair because I drove the car after being told nothing was wrong with the oil system. I AM LIVID and They are taking zero responsibility
