    The people and processes at Principle VW are great. I don't have any issue(s) with them. The only issues I have are with my VW itself, specifically the headunit (wireless CarPlay is non-functional for anything more than 10-15 min, then it reboots itself, the screen goes dark etc. etc.). I have mentioned during every visit since Tiguan was acquired in 2022 - no solution as yet. Definitely cools any desire I have to get another VW product when I replace this one.

    I called and set up an appointment and the specific issues to be addressed but when I arrived the appointment had not been recorded. The associate who helped did very well but it’s frustrating to set it up and arrive to a shop not at all prepared for my appt and needs.

    I came in for the 1st service which is only an oil change plus overall quick check. It took over 1 hr for the service even with an appointment!

    I made an appointment 4 days ahead of time. Despite my appointment, it took 3 days before they were able to look at my vehicle. What’s the point of the appointment? This was horribly inconvenient to be without my car for 4 days. If you are 3 days behind, then shut off your appointment system. You don’t show up to a restaurant with a reservation and have to wait 5 hours for a table. An appointment should secure me an opening at least within 24 hours…not 72. That’s unacceptable and I’ve never experienced that under the previous management at Principle.

    My 2019 Tiguan was in for warranty service (approx. 19,000 miles) to diagnose and repair the auto-lowering right-side mirror. I am a 1st time customer of Principle VW. The technician recommended replacement of the battery and cabin air filter (not associated with the warranty issue's diagnosis or repair. When I asked for evidence/proof (computer printout, photos) that these recommendations were legitimate, I received none. I waited 24 hours after requesting the information from my service advisor, and having received no "proof", I declined this additional work. After taking possession of the vehicle, I took it to another service center for the battery evaluation. They reported no issues with the battery's capacity, starting/cranking ability nor any issue with the alternator/charging abilities.
